How long is each PlayWisely class?
Each class is 30 minutes long with a 5-minute transition window between each class. Our 30-minute classes are intentionally short, designed to match young children's shorter attention spans and keep every minute engaging.

What if the PlayWisely class times and days don't work for me?
Private sessions are the perfect solution! We coordinate with our coaches' availability and your family's schedule to set up in-home sessions that fit your life. Learn more about private lessons here.
Fun Fact: private lessons are a popular gift request! Moms often ask grandparents for session credits and grandparents often ask Mom if they can join the class and participate in engaged and active playtime with the babies!

How many times per week do students attend classes?
Most families opt for 1 to 2 classes per week.

Can we join mid-session or sign up late?
Yes! If space allows, late enrollment is welcome, and tuition will be prorated. We love welcoming new families - feel free to tell a friend!

Do caregivers stay with the child during class?
Yes. PlayWisely classes are designed as a shared experience. A caregiver remains with the child for the entire class to help reinforce learning, model engagement, and support participation in both cognitive and physical activities.

Can my nanny bring my child to class?
Children may be brought by a parent, nanny, grandparent, or other trusted caregiver. We simply ask that the same expectations are followed and that caregivers actively participate with the child throughout the class.

How does parking and building entry work?
Parking and entry procedures vary by location. In general, families should plan to arrive a few minutes early, follow posted signage, and park in designated areas for PlayWisely classes. Details on parking and entry will be listed here.

What else should we know?
Shoes off before class; socks are required for both adults and children.
No food or snacks during class.
Restrooms are available on-site; please try to use them before or after class during the 5-minute transition window between classes.
Classes begin on time, but if you're running late, you're welcome to join at any point.

What if my child gets fussy or starts crying during class?
Fussiness is completely normal, especially for our youngest learners! If it happens, we recommend standing up and gently bouncing your child first. If that doesn't soothe them, try walking around the room. If fussiness continues, a quick walk outside for a change of scenery often does the trick. Our team is always happy to help, and we understand that every child has moments like this.

Can I take photos or videos during class?
We understand parents love capturing milestones! Families are encouraged to take photos or videos of their own child only so they can easily track improvement. To protect privacy, please avoid photographing or recording other children without permission.

What is the Pre-K Prep/Bridge Program?
Our Pre-K Prep/Bridge Program is for children ages 3.5–5 to give them a confident head start before kindergarten.
The class focuses on school readiness, including STEM, early reading, and foundational math, with a stronger emphasis on cognitive development than physical activities. Many parents say it feels like private tutoring at a fraction of the cost.
Spots are limited and fill quickly, so be sure to join the waitlist as additional classes may open.

Why does it look like my credit card wasn't charged after I checked out?
PlayWisely processes credit card payments once or twice per week. Depending on when you sign up and enter your payment information, it may take up to one week for the charge to appear on your statement.
